WHO WE ARE

The Caia Connection is a grassroots organization based in Victoria, British Columbia, which fundraises and provides support to health, education, and development projects in the Caia district of Mozambique.  Our focus is on the The Ray of Hope project in the town of Caia, and the Kuwangisana home-based care project in the town of Sena.

Raio de Esperanca - Ray of Hope

This is a project that has been working and supporting orphans and vulnerable children in the city of Caia, Mozambique for 4 years. Children in critical need of help are brought into the program and there are many more children in need of a family to care for them. Funds are needed to continue to help more children who are affected or infected with HIV AIDS.

Kuwangisana  - For the better health and well being of all

This program provides home-based care to people living with HIV AIDS and support to over 200 orphans and vulnerable children. The program has expanded over the last 3 years and has helped many children and families cope with the affects of HIV AIDS. Help is needed to raise funds for specific purposes to expand these much needed services.
